Aled Glynne and Afryl Davies established Goriad Cyfyngedig in 2007.  The company produces television and radio programmes. Goriad also organises and facilitates workshops and courses.

Aled was Editor of the BBC's Welsh language radio service BBC Radio Cymru between 1995 and 2006. He successfully re-launched Radio Cymru and over the years introduced many changes to the station, attracting new and younger listeners.

Before being appointed Editor of BBC Radio Cymru, Aled was the the Radio Cymru's News Editor and before that the Senior Producer of the BBC’s TV news service on S4C.  Aled led the team that established the BBC’s first ever Welsh language website, BBC Cymru'r Byd.

As well as producing television and radio programmes, Aled arranges and facilitates courses and workshops.  

 

He is also an experienced radio and TV juror, judging programmes for Bafta Cymru,  the Wales Media Awards and the Celtic Media Festival.

Afryl Davies

Afryl was a teacher before running her own consultancy, Gafal, between 2004 and 2007.

As an independent Education Consultant, Afryl has worked for various national establishments in Wales and beyond. Consultancy work has included managing UK-wide projects for the BBC.

 

Afryl is experienced at organising and facilitating conferences, workshops and courses.

Goriad's TV and radio programmes are produced by Afryl and Aled.
